7.30 Confrontation

Paris was in the market shopping for her weekly fruit and veg when she saw a vampire that she’d never seen before approach Victoria.

She watched as Victoria seemed nervous as the man continued to talk to her

After Taylor was out of sight Paris had this sixth sense that something was not right so she walked over to her and said, “Are you alright?”

Victoria looked at her and replied, “No and he scares me. What should I do?”

“You need to tell Will.”

“He’ll think I’m over reacting.” Paris smiled and calmly said, “I know you don’t know me well but what I can tell you is Will loves you and if you are scared by this man then he will take you seriously and if you won’t tell him then I will.” Victoria asked, “You know I’m not trying to take Heather’s place.” Paris smiled once again, “After Heather died Will went into a dark place but when you came into his life he smiled again and knowing Heather like I did, she would approve of you. Now I’m ringing Will.” The phone was engaged so she rang her husband Philippe.

“Hun, are you at work?” Philippe sensed there was something wrong and asked, “Are you ok because you sound shaken up?”

“I’m fine but Victoria’s not. A vampire I’ve never seen before in town approached her. She looks shaken up and when I tried Will, his phone was engaged. I thought if you were work you could just let him know. “

When Philippe got off the phone from Paris he walked into the office and said, “Will, I just got off the phone with Paris and apparently a guy scared Victoria.”

Will looked at him and replied, “Is she alright?”

“Paris just said she was shaken.”

Will rang Victoria, “Hun, I heard what happened are you ok?”

“He said his name was Taylor and started asking all these questions…” Will seemed even more concerned and asked, “Was this Taylor a vampire?”

“Victoria, I want you to go home and stay there until I get home.” In a panic she said, “How long will you be?”

“I’m going to find this Taylor first then be home. I’ll get Art to sit with you until I get home. I love you.”

“I love you too.”

Philippe looked at Will and replied, “Is this something wrong?” Will wasn’t sure why this Taylor was looking for Victoria but said, “Not sure but can you ring Draco and ask him to cover my shift? Until he gets here can you make sure everything is done?”

“Don’t worry about a thing I’ll make sure everything is done.”

William had already contacted Blake as he searched for Taylor throughout the town. What they had learned from Lexy and her contacts was that Taylor wasn’t very well off so could only afford the basics of home so when William couldn’t find him he decided to go to the other side of town not far from where Torri used to live and see if he lived in one of those homes.

As he approached one street he noticed a vampire going into a house.

He knocked on the door and when the door opened he asked, “Are you Taylor?” William got a sharp tone from this man as he said, “And what if I am who are you?”

“Because I’m William and I understand you have been asking my girlfriend questions.”

“Then I’m Taylor…”

He didn’t get to finish his sentence as William punched him in the face closing the door behind him and harshly said, “That was for attacking my brother and why have you approached Victoria?” Taylor got up from the floor and said, “Who the fuck is your brother?”

William shoved him again and said, “The boy you attacked at the beach, you know the one you lured with texts…”

Taylor laughed in his face and said, “That kid is your brother, I feel sorry for you. However if you want to know why I was talking to Victoria, it’s simple I’m just being nosy.”

William could feel his temper rising and harshly said as he pointed to Taylor, “You are lying and I want to know why you were talking to her but if you don’t want to tell me that’s fine because I will find out in the end. Just one word of warning you have no idea what family you are dealing with and if you do you must be either stupid or insane.”

Taylor chuckled to himself then replied, “I’ll take my chances after all if I needed to I think I could beat you in a fight.” William stared at him and harshly replied, “Don’t say I didn’t warn you and stay away from my brother as well as Victoria,” William then slammed the door as he left. When William got back to the main part of town Blake met up with him and asked, “Are you ok?”

“I’m just met the infamous Taylor Robins, it seems he’s now after Victoria as well as Nathan. You are going to have to give Nathan that potion now.” Blake shook his head and said, “I agree with you. He is at the age where he should be a full vampire but after the others grew up so quickly Dawn is petrified that if Nathan grows up she will lose him so Dad put his foot down.”

William sighed and replied, “I understand Dawn’s concerns but at the end of the day Nathan should be full vampire that way he can protect himself and after meeting this Taylor I wouldn’t like to see Nathan’s chances in a fight with him.”

“Then I think we should have a word with both Dawn and Dad and see if we can convince her to let him grow up. Did you see Romy there?” William shook his head, “I didn’t see her but now I can understand why she is scared of him. If Dad treated us the way Taylor treats her, I would have left home years ago. I have to see Victoria first so ask them to meet us at mine.”

i do not like that taylor dude one bit. even worse he’s planning on selling his daughter to repay a debt. That’s the lowest thing a father can do.

    • Winterbaby20,

I don’t think anyone likes Taylor. Selling his daughter for debt is the lowest and feel for her because the man she is being sold to is worse than her father 🙁

      Thanks for reading 🙂

I’m not sure if William confronting Taylor was the best idea because I don’t think he’s the guy to worry about. It’s when his boss shows up that things are going to hit the roof. It’s probably not a bad idea to let Nathan grow into a mature vampire with Taylor around though. At least then he’d be able to protect himself. A part of me wonders if Taylor is as bad as it seems or if he’s that way because of what he has to do to pay his debt… I may just want him to be better because it’s awful to think any parent would sell his own child to pay off his debt.

    • DandyLion240,

William was angry and I doubt it will help matters. Taylors boss I think will be much worse, letting Nathan grow up could be a good thing but we will see on that one. Taylor’s bio is up which gives a bit of background on him but I believe he is as bad as he sounds. I think what he is doing to his daughter is horrific, sadly.

      Thanks for reading 🙂

  3. Taylor needs to go. He hasn’t been around for long yet he’s caused so much trouble. He needs to go.

Not liking the Taylor guy one bit, seriously, being nosey? When someone is being nosey, that’s never a good thing.
I agree with Nathan about giving his brother the potion, hopefully he can convince Dawn and his Dad with this creep wandering around, making my stomach crawl 🙁

    • Ivorybutterfly,

Taylor is horrible. Nathan needs that potion but the question is will Dawn and Estevan let him. Stomach crawl…I don’t think you are the only one.

      Thanks for reading 🙂
